Ride to the Big Walker Lookout and the Iron Heart Winery.
Our ride to the Big Walker Lookout and Iron Heart Winery is Saturday, Nov. 8th.
The Roanoke meeting location will be the Marathon station on Rt. 419 across from Pinkerton Chevrolet at 9:15 am. From there, we will take I-81 to the Dixie Caverns exit and then Rt. 11 to Christiansburg. Our meeting location in Christiansburg will be Lowes at 10:00. We will then take Rt. 460 towards Newport and the road through Eggleston to Rt. 100 and route 42 toward Big Walker Mountain. For all those who are interested, we will leave Big Walker Mountain and go to Iron Heart Winery. Please let me know if you are planning to go, so we don’t leave anyone behind. This will be a weather dependent ride.
