The trip to Pipestem is an overnight trip leaving on July 15th and returning on the 16th. I know it is two months out, but we need to be looking into making reservations at the Pipestem lodge now. The number to call to make your reservation is 1-833-wv-parks. I called and there are 13 units available in the McKeever Lodge for July 15th. If you are planning to attend this ride you need to make your reservation quickly.

For our trip to Pipestem next week, the Roanoke meeting place will be the Marathon station on Route 419 at 10:00 a.m. We will meet the Christiansburg group at the Lowe’s in Christiansburg about 10:30 a.m. From there we can meet anyone else at the top of Brush Mountain or there at the store in Newport, probably around 10:50 or 11:00. We will take 460 to Peterstown and then route 219 and then Route 12 to Hinton, West Virginia. There’s a good place in Hinton for ice cream and we can find a place for lunch. We have a dinner reservation at Pipestem Tuesday evening at 6:00.
